Everest Panorama Trekking of a week duration is an enjoyable short moderate adventure in the harmony of impressive cultures.

This will be a perfect trek for visitors with limited time in Nepal to enjoy and experience the Himalayan scenic wilderness.

Everest Panorama Trekking takes you to one of the most picturesque locations at a scenic location in Tengboche. The place is famous for its colorful and impressive monastery and panorama of the Himalayas with views of Mt. Everest.

Located, in tranquil surroundings amidst a lovely forest covered with tall rhododendrons, blue pines, oaks, junipers, and fir trees.

In the spring season, the areas around Tengboche will be bright and lively when wildflowers are in bloom. Especially the rhododendrons of various species and colors, from tall trees to bushes, with a great contrast against the white peaks. As well as the spectacular views of the towering snow-capped peaks shadow the Tengboche and the monastery.

Overlooking, the grand views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse with majestic and beautiful Mt. Ama Dablam, Khangtiaga, Tharmasarku, and Kongde ranges. Everest Panorama Trekking begins from Lukla Town after a swift scenic flight from Kathmandu. The walk leads on a gradual scenic trail through lovely Sherpa villages lined with Buddhist monuments of prayer walls.

The trek leads to crossing exciting bridges above the glacial Dudh Koshi River to enter the Sagarmatha National Park. The park is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as the highest conservation park enriched with exotic flora and fauna. The walk follows the river bed within a gorge, covered in dense tree lines. The climb starts with up towards the famed Namche Bazaar, the hub of Khumbu Sherpa’s.

A moderate-sized village slowly developed into a town over the years, with many good houses serving as lodges and hotels. At Namche Bazaar spend an extra day exploring its scenic viewpoints and the local cultures, as well as acclimatization.

From Namche Bazaar, adventure then towards our destination to Tengboche and the monastery. A lovely scenic walk with a few hours of climb reaches the beautiful spot at Tengboche. Enjoy the panorama of Everest and surrounding giant peaks with a tour of the monastery of great religious and cultural interest. The place is famous for a colorful religious festival called Mani Rimdu, which falls during autumn as per the Buddhist calendar.

After a rejoiceful moment at Tengboche on the highest point of the adventures, then on the return journey to Lukla. For the last overnight around the high areas of Khumbu and Everest region, and then taking a short flight back to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, Everest Panorama Trekking concludes, after a mesmerizing experience around the scenic hills of Khumbu and Everest.

Everest Panorama Trek Itinerary

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport received by staff and guide and for a short drive to your hotels. Situated in the hub of Kathmandu city, around Thamel an exciting location. After checking into your rooms with refreshment our guides will brief regarding the treks. Evening a welcome dinner in a nice Nepalese restaurant to get familiar with the culture and Nepali food.

Morning after breakfast, an exciting tour of Nepalese culture and historical tour around Nepal's landmarks and World Heritage Sites. Rest of the day after an interesting tour, with time for trek preparations.

Morning depart from the hotel after an early breakfast as time for flight to Lukla transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport. After checking through security, then board in a small aircraft either Dornier, Twin Otter or similar plane. Flight of 30 or 35 minutes, enjoy the views of Himalayan panorama with glimpse of Mt. Everest. On landing at Lukla’s Tenzing & Hillary Airport, Lukla town the gateway to various adventures around Khumbu and Everest regions. From Lukla, after collecting the baggage’s, then getting organized follow the guide through the town of Lukla. From the main gate of Lukla, downhill, and then on gradual winding path past serval villages, adorned with prayer monuments. As the walk follows Dudh Koshi River with short ups and down to Phakding for overnight stop around Khumbu and Everest regions.

After a pleasant overnight in Phakding, the walk today takes you to Namche Bazaar, the hub town of Khumbu. Morning from Phakding, walk leads to short down and ups, the trail leads through Benkar village. Then crossing a long bridge above Dudh Koshi River with short steep climb to Monjo village. Where Sagarmatha National Park entrance located, Sagarmatha a name for Everest, the Sherpa calls Chomolungma. From here a short down to cross another bridge to reach Jorsalle the last settlement before Namche Bazaar. A popular lunch spot en route to Namche Bazaar, enjoy lunch with the sound of the river. Afternoon walk on the river bank amidst dense forest of rhododendron and pines, then cross over a high bridge. After the bridge following winding uphill trail to Namche Bazaar for two overnights stops.

Namche Bazaar, the hub of Khumbu villagers where once a week a busy colorful Market held on Saturday. Hence the name tagged as Namche Bazaar, full of shops, stores, restaurants and café with fresh bakeries. Includes banks with fancy lodges and hotels, an ideal place for rest day and acclimatization.

At Namche Bazaar enjoy the morning walk on top of a high ridge for grand views of Mt. Everest. Includes, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam with series of giant snow peaks, having time visit the nearby museum. Interested people can take a hike up to Everest View Hotel, the first luxury hotels around Khumbu.

After an enjoyable rest at Namche Bazaar, morning walk up for short while and then on scenic trail to Tengboche. The walk follows along with glorious views of Snow-mountain range, and down to Imjatse River for lunch stop.

After a refreshing break, afternoon climb for few hours within lovely woods to reach a high small plateau. Where Tengboche and the monastery is located, a beautiful spot surrounded by an array of snow-capped peaks. Having time for interesting tour of the monastery interior of great cultural and religious interest. Overnight in a nice lodge at Tengboche, or walk further downhill to Debouche, a nice place with few good lodges.

Enjoy the day walks, heading down on the same scenic trail to Namche Bazaar for lunch stop. Afternoon walk a long downhill walk to Dudh Koshi River gorge to Jorsalle village. From here across the bridge with short steep up to Sagarmatha National Park post. A short walk from the park exit post brings you to Monjo for overnight halt before Lukla.

Enjoy the last day walk downhill to cross a bridge, then following the trail to Phakding. From Phakding on gradual winding trail with last final climb to Lukla for last overnight night stop. After an exciting and marvelous adventure to Tengboche Monastery around the high Khumbu.

Morning walk to Lukla’s Tenzing & Hillary Airport after a good early breakfast, as time for a short flight to Kathmandu. Check into the airport counter and then board in a small aircraft. Enjoy the plane heading downhill, as it lifts high above the green hills with panorama of the Himalayan range. Then on landing at Kathmandu airport transfer to your respective hotels, rest of the day at leisure.

A free day in Kathmandu, reserved as contingency in case of flight delay, and might lead to cancellation sometimes. Which happens sometimes due to unfavorable and bad weather conditions. If all goes well according to the planned itinerary day, enjoy the free day for another tour and shopping souvenirs of Nepal.

Last day in Kathmandu and Nepal, after a great experience on Everest Panorama Trekking. As time for the international flight transfer to Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport. Then bid farewell to the guide, staff as you enter the airport terminal for homeward bound flight, or to next port of call.

How many hours do we walk every day?

A moderate walk of average hours of 5-6 hours to shortest 4 hours, includes lunch stop in between. The longest trek is from Tengboche to Monjo on the way back to Lukla, with downhill and short ups.

How do I prepare for Everest Panorama trek?

Before booking and after signing for the trek, keeping fit and healthy with exercise for an hour or more daily. Preparation after getting much detail and full information from your agents, will suggest you on clothing list, medical history as well buying travel and medical insurance back at home to make your trip safe and sound.

What do I do with my extra luggage while I am hiking?

Extra baggage or luggage with unwanted clothing or items not required on trek, can leave in the hotel store room or with the trekking company booked with.

Is there Wi-Fi on Everest Panorama Trek?

Most villages do have Wi-Fi from Lukla to Tengboche. But in most areas the services, is quite disturbing. Due to cold climate or in cloudy days, rest of the area on treks are good for Wi-Fi, available en route designated overnight stops.
